What the service does

careerthesis is a SaaS product for structured career planning via chat. It is not human coaching, not legal advice, not therapy. Recommendations are generated by language models and should be treated as suggestions, not professional prescriptions.

Your account

One account per person. You are responsible for keeping the login email secure. Sharing access may result in account termination. Beta tier is invite-only — invites are non-transferable.

Billing

Recurring billing via Stripe. Cancel anytime through the Stripe portal — access continues until the end of the paid period. No refunds for the current period, but a 7-day guarantee on the first subscription. Plan change: pro rata.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service for illegal content, mass generation, scraping (you don't have the quota), reverse engineering the product, or anything that harms infrastructure or other users. Summary suspension for clear abuse.

Intellectual property

Content you create (artifacts, conversations) is yours. The product code, design, and prompts are ours. You grant us a limited operational license to store and process your content while the account exists.

Warranties

Service is delivered "as is". We don't guarantee promotions, that your BHAG will happen, or absolute uptime. Liability is capped at the amount paid in the last 12 months.

Changes

Material changes to terms: 30 days advance email notice. Minor changes: in-product notification. Public version history at github.com/ciromaciel/careerthesis-legal (soon).

Governing law

Brazilian law. Venue: Fortaleza, CE for disputes. LGPD prevails over conflicting clauses.
